MAUCRSA Emergency Regulations Released; Public Comment Open until Dec. 4

On Thursday, November 16, the Bureau of Cannabis Control, the Department of Food & Agriculture’s CalCannabis Licensing Branch, and the Department of Public Health’s Manufactured Cannabis Safety Branch released the proposed emergency regulations for medicinal and adult-use cannabis under the Medicinal and Adult Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act (MAUCRSA).

The public comment period for the proposed emergency regulations started on Tuesday, Nov. 28 and goes until Monday, Dec. 4. Comments must be submitted to the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) as well as the appropriate state licensing agency.
